Kabalat e Sabbath was composed by the Kabbalists of Safed 500 years ago. They wrote the famous poems: “Yedid Nefesh” - friend of the soul, “” Lecha dodi” - to you my uncle, “Ya ribbon Olam” - the lord of the world, “Azamer Beshivchin” - I will sing in praise.    

Going from the everyday to the Holiness of Sabbath. We welcome  the Sabbath Queen with the Mystics and Hassidic of this enchanted city. Will light Sabbath candles and go to the Jewish quarter along with many who rush to the ancient synagogues, many of them are Hasidic people caring a towel on they're shoulder on their way to perform the ritual of immersion in the chilly water of the mikve h'aAri on their way to daven.

With the siren telling us is Sabbat coming we'll go down to the synagogue H"alseich For an early and authentic Welcoming of the Sabbath, we will continue to synagogue Abuhav , climb up the hill  to the Hassidic synagogues and listen to the sounds of pleasant prayer "Lecha Dodi". We will join the minyan and sing and dance in the style of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. We conclude with a Kiddush and go slowly out of the Safed experience singing “Shalom Aleichem Angels of Peace”

The tour is two and a half hours long. It begins one hour before the lighting of S abbat candles

We will meet at the corner ofArlozorov and Castel - alley the leading to Hotel Roth - Rimonim.

It is a rounded tour.  Please, wear comfortable shoes, women should bring a scarf and appropriate clothing for visiting synagogues men's advisable to bring a Yarmulke.
