Tour of the wineries in the mountainous Galilee

 

Mountainous Galilee possess the excellent wine essential features: height, weather, rainfall soil quality and vitality of the growers- all these create unique terroir.

At the top of the  Upper Galilee are the best wineries in Israel - one of the largest Dalton winery, Galilee Mountain Winery and charming boutique wineries in the kibbutzim or communal settlements.

Our wine route we wil see the vineyards, meet the winemakers and get a taste of a variety of wines.

Get to know the methods of growth, harvest and vintage processes, fermentation ,aging in oak barrels, bottling, branding and more.

In every winery we will have a tasting and learn the meaning of the different markings on the bottle label, we will get to know the types of wine glass and various types of wine. Of course we can buy wines.

Each tour will be planned in coordination with the group. Of course we try to combine with more galilee-products : cheese, olives, olive oil, and more ....
